Yes. It will give you an additional maxed out city. Even if you hold it for 1-2 turns, it will pay back what you paid for the paratrooper initially. Plus it is a lvl 3 industrial as well, meaning you can spawn heavy’s there

yep plus you can have the opportunity to stop the balkan spam early, and have a easier time working your way up to spain and germany. Well i tried this mission with guderian rommel vatutin yamashita leeb konev and kuznetstov but still cant clear it xD ik what you all are thinking right now but gimme some time to re attempt ill try to employ the 1950 strategy of invading the balkan allies first once i have control over africa, so athens is a must to paratroops, then work my way into germany with the backing of the soviet union.

I tried it but it’s draining my resources and 1 heavy tank per turn gives me precious little for the African front. Should I focus on Africa or the balkans/Greece?

Wipe out all of africa as fast as possible then focus on balkans and italy is my advice. Make sure to use paratroopers as well as you can. But if you can take athens, focus on simply holding it initially rather than actually pushing. Once africa is no issue, try to wipe out all of europe as fast as possible. |

Figure nimitz and kuznetsov, combined with arnold's bombers from cairo, can help prevent me from being overrun by the spam. Ill put kuznetsov on a triple stacked submarine first to eliminate riccardi then ill use nimitz on a double cruiser to sneak my way into athens. Rommel and yamashita will clean up africa while vatutin, leeb, konev and guderian will slowly push to spain. |
