just ignore izmir, and if you do not have good navy generals montgomery shld be easy to defeat on land as well, so dont worry if you do not stop him in time, vatutin with rumour, knoev with 60% leader trigger and guderian with blitzkrieg easily applied confusement(xD meme term) and destroyed him. Personally i feel this is the easiest wto mission, op nukes can make a huge diff

My attack is too slow, by the time I take the first city Bradley comes along and makes 3 strong tanks that are hard to kill.
I used Guderian, Vatutin, and Meese

I destroyed entire Bradley force at sea, took the entire of Turkey and used a nuke, missles and paradrop to get the final town( so I took Ismir for the missles) Killed Mountbatten with tanks and arty from the coast. I hate doing any unnecessary amphib landings as your troops are easy meat in their LCM/LCT's. Gotta have your feet on the ground to put the boots to the enemy.

I destroyed entire Bradley force at sea, took the entire of Turkey and used a nuke, missles and paradrop to get the final town( so I took Ismir for the missles) Killed Mountbatten with tanks and arty from the coast. I hate doing any unnecessary amphib landings as your troops are easy meat in their LCM/LCT's. Gotta have your feet on the ground to put the boots to the enemy. yea same. i rushed my cruiser and aircraft carrier to the west to damage Bradley before he could land so its easier for land units to destroy the super tank ltr. then i rushed my land units upwards to defend the allies and i let them recapture the city. i captured the turkish southwest city and built 2 nukes to destroy the british city and parasniped it hehe |

This is probably the first Cold War mission that I got three stars on and beat on hard mode. Rumour and flanking are super useful in this (not to mention all other) mission. Also, why does ET love putting Eisenhower and his three tank stars on a super tank? He literally only does 70 damage to infantry.
