You right but I like Greim for campaign. I use Ozawa on the aircraft carrier and Greim on the ground supporting Badoglio and Guderian. But yeah save up for Göring, with him you'll also kinda have an infantry commander.

But yeah save up for Göring, with him you'll also kinda have an infantry commander. Can you believe that I put Patton on infantry in challenges before I got Goring? Patton is pretty different that he can be on a tank, crash into a airport and use planes to attack the others, he can be a tank-air general, same as Montgomery and Eisenhower.

Well my problem is are alien campaigns. I feel I need something that is great against them in this case it would be Govorov. Göring can deal tons of damage to aliens with fighter spam. Also, in conquest do not underestimate his strength. Any generals outside of a city are very vulnerable to Göring's air strength.

True, I prefer Patton over the two you mentioned because of his skills. He, Guderian and Badoglio could take a capital in 3 turns. I'm guessing Patton is very good for surviving missions since he has more health than Guderian AND urban fighting skills.
