My current generals are: Leeb, Rommel, Konev and Nimitz (all upgraded a bit). I got nearly 1500 medals and I am thinking of buying a new general. Currently I am stuck with in scenario at NATO 5 and WTO 6 and completed conquest in 1939 and 1943 with 1, 2 and 3 star countries, but cant finish a 1950 conquest.
So my questions are as following: -Which general should I get? I was thinking of getting Rundstedt or Guderian (but Guderian is gonna be hard as I am having a hard time progressing, and thus collecting medals) or should I upgrad one of my generals further? -Which 1950 conquests are the easiest?

Save for Guderian. You need another tank general. I thought Spain and U.S. were easiest for Cold War conquests. Also go back and do hard modes for WWII scenarios if you haven’t already, and do some of the exercises/battles in Domination. They have good medal rewards.

Go for Vatutin. 1. He is cheaper than Guderian 2. You will anyway need at least 3 tank generals in Your lineup 3. He'll help You to progress and consequently earn medals faster.

I get 5-12 medals per invasion, but they are pretty hard, tried 2 today, finished the cheapest (5 medals) barrerly and the most expensive (12) wiped out all artillery that I used (8 rocket and 6 howitzers)

I hear allot of players go for Vatutin early on, but I dont know, he does have 6 stars for armor and has panzer leader lvl 3, but only one movement star and can only get one more skill and he has a low rank, so not really beefy.

Is your Konev (or Leeb) not strong enough, is your thech tree undeveloped? Because I think, that after initial success with plenty of opportunities to earn medals, Invasions will remain our main (if not sole) source for a long time... soonerjbd, I presume, uses Konev as well, and he is able to defeat every Invasion. So that is technically possible and you have to remedy a situation as a first importance, imo...

I know that all invasions are possible, I dont blame anyone but me, my artillery tech was nearly maxed for WWII pacific (all but one armor upgrade) and since Cold War was released, I upgraded rocket artillery from 4 to 6 and Artillery from 5 to 6, bought the last upgrade for Firepower and am now saving up for the max rocket artillery skill which prevents retalliation completely for rocket artillery. When It comes to Konev I have only upgrade his mobility and gave him lvl 1 plain fighting and lvl 3 rumor and he has a medal to increase accuracy and raider.

Then, to spent your medals on your current generals is not a bad idea either... Konev, Rommel, Nimiz should be able to defeat every 12 (in reality 18) medals Invasions. Theoretically you can earn more than 120 medals per day!

You say it is difficult to progress. I see the wayout only in building a better team which leads to faster conquests->better farming->better techs->more medals->profit Vatutin is in Your range right now. Guderian is a long way medal farming. And You will anyway need someone like Vatutin or Rokossovskiy in Your team in addition to Guderian. Artillery is too fragile. One tank general for Your present progress is definetely not enough.

If you are having trouble on 5 medal invasion than I think you need to upgrade your current generals. Will be better long term because every invasion not done are medals that are lost forever so you want to be able to do as many of them as you can.

If the goal is not missing out on medals from invasions, upgrading your current generals is the way to go. You only need one of each type of general to complete invasions. Invasions hinge quite a lot on your general quickly burning supporting units so you have a numbers advantage.

Does Konev qualify as an infantery gen with his 4 stars for infantery and raider, or do I need a gen which is focused on infantery?

Will be better long term because every invasion not done are medals that are lost forever so you want to be able to do as many of them as you can. What upgrades do you recommend? For Leeb I have only upgraded his movement to 3 stars. For Rommel I have upgraded armored assault to lvl 4, added lvl 2 tide of iron and lvl 5 blitzkrieg, and his marching is 3 (cause I believe it is, at standard 2 stars). For Konev I have maxed is movement (which is 4 stars) and gave him lvl 1 plain fighting and lvl 3 rumor. For Nimitz I have upgraded his movement to max (which is 4 stars). So Leeb has 1 more empty spot and Nimitz 2, when it comes to skills and I am thinking of replacing Konev's plain fighting for something else.
