The toughest invasions are always going to be challenging without advancing tech a decent amount. Infantry invasions are easiest when compared to other mission types, but a 12-Medal infantry invasion isn’t going to be a cake walk. Fully upgraded Yamashita with medals makes it hard to lose them, though.

I hate this Tactical finesse has no worth if you don't have enough strength to finish the job... I imagine it would also be hard to win tougher tank challenges with a naval general. I can’t stress enough how much you need a good naval commander. Nimitz can be had far cheaper than Dönitz and will make these easier. If enemy general is in a cruiser, your general needs to be in stacked sub. It’s the only way to get the damage output you need.
