Red Cat Modding, my opinion: For russia, the color looks like Japanese empire in WC3, keep the red. Doesn't have to be the same red, but red seems good. Green imo looks weird in a large chunk of land. I suggest changing AH's color to light orange(what Romania has atm) and Romania to Serbia's color. For the Serbs it looks all mushed up, because AH Romania and Serbia's color looks similar. I suggest purple or something.

The choice of aesthetics are nice, very easy on the eyes. Borders seem to be correct. I don't have any problems with your visual design choice at all but I think it may seem a bit more fitting if Russia got a white colour (like base game Poland).
