Btw, if anyone isn't sure what to do, you are welcome to vote for other to see what other people think. (I voted for other only to see what people were gonna pick as I'm the GM)

For me , i take two choices :
-1900 with the Boxer Rebellion & the Eight-Nation Alliance = good start
-1912 First Balkan War ( good start too )

But then our teams are pretty much fixed, isn't it? Not necessarily, we can do diplomatic maneuvers to establish and break ties in the few years leading up to that regional war. Not that mamy great powers involved (I think).

Its alternate history so I think we don't have to start the balkan wars if the players choose not too.

best75, Desophaeus, cool then, but I still like 1900, beginning of a century. I keep forgetting that this is an alternative history...

Remember what happened to the ottomans...? Alternate History, remember? The Ottomans could easily emerge as a world power by gobbling the weak Balkans and Italy.

I get Greek peninsula if I promise to help remove *Auto corrected* removers. Glory to the sultanate and Greece.
