You're going to need pretty good Cold War tech (But I believe Marshal of the Weed did it with Pacific tech), a good tank general such as Guderian, super tanks and a lot of rumor. Follow Rommel down south and take out that city, then push up and take out the British generals. Alexander is relatively easy to take out compared to Montgomery. What I did was since my Guderian and Konev have lvl 4 rumor, I only used them to hit Montgomery while my other tanks only hit the other regular units (In other words, they acted as meat shields for my generals). All I can say is pray that rumor will activate 3 times quickly on Montgomery otherwise you might not be able to beat it.

So I spawned in my 5 supers, 2 triple stacked heavies and 3 triple medium tanks. I put Guderian, Konev and Nimitz on the supers. ARTY is to fragile so I didnโt want to waste rumor on something that would die quickly. I move south trying to avoid enemy bunkers and forts, and capture the south city. I leave my medium tanks at the start, moving them out of range of the fort. I gather my troops in the south and clear it completely out, then move to rumorify Monty. This is key: Guderian AND Konev has lvl 3 rumor and basic explosives. Surround Monty and rumorify him until he dies; crossfire canโt do extra damage if he canโt hurt you. I cleared out the surrounding units and captured the city, then attacked Alexander in the north, also rumorifying him and using the lvl 3 airport in *Cairo*, and using the 3 med tanks at the start. I did build a super tank in the far south city as a shield for my gens.

You could go for the Messe and Leeb combo or for Vatutin instead as some people have done. Guderian is your next purchase afterwards as he will carry you throughout the game.

^ rokossovsky / donitz / leeb (he's gd for endgame too) / dowding / arnold / infantry gen (low priority) next haha Iโm planning for Arnold now, as I can get around 40-60 medals per day, and I donโt have a dedicated air general yet. Then Leeb, then I think Iโll get Roko and Mannerheim because of his price and skill levels

yup arnold will significantly boost your team with air attack, high rumor and crowd tactics (if you choose to equip him with that)

Leonid Govorov, I bought messe at the starting as you said and started saving medals for gudrien. alone with messe i completed the western senario. but when i reached pacific i got stuck on the third level for both allies and axis.until that time i had at least 2000 medals.after that i bought vatutin. after buying vatutin i completed the pacific levels easily but i got stuck on the last leve of axis so i bought tito. after i completed pacific i did the level 1 for cold war and succeded. then i dismissed tito and bought leeb cause i had enough medals for this.aND NOW STUCK ON THE SECOND LEVEL OF NATO AND WTO.did i bought the good generals or i just wasted my medals?and help me in completing the cold war plese.GIVE ME SOME TIPS. THANK YOU Happy first post and welcome to the forum! From what I can infer, you currently have Messe, Vatutin and Leeb, and you are at the early cold war stages? In this case, I highly recommend that you get Guderian + Konev, since cold war is not an easy chapter for players with beginner generals still. After those two, aim for Rommel. Up to now I don't think its an issue with your strategy, since I can assume that you are already well-acquainted with the forum guides too. TLDR: Get more generals, Guderian and Konev, and try to upgrade your unit technology as well. You may gain the resources for these actions through completing conquests/achievements, or even trying to complete the hard missions of the 1939 chapters.

Watch out for the later missions such as Battle of Stalingrad and Destination Berlin, though.
