Hey guys, dunno if this should've been in the Modding Questions thread, but is it possible if someone can teach how to texture? Texturing is needed in my mod, just to fit in the mod's time period.
Any help would definitely be great. Thanks in advance

Aleksandr Vasilevsky Basically, download Mali texture compressiom tool, open the pkm file named : image_ui_hd2 with the compression tool (image_ui_hd2 is located in assets/images) , edit it with whatever you want (if you need help witg editing, i can teach ya) to whatever you want, compress it back to a pkm file (note here, if you compress it to a pkm file, the standard output location will be c:/Users/[Yourprofile]/Downloads or /images ) Name the file image_ui_hd2 and put it back in the image folder and let it overwrite the old file. If you need any more detail or any download links just say it.

Are you good with pixel art? Unfortunately no. But I should be able to get it done through practice.

BTW guys, I am currently just going to edit the units' textures. Perhaps I will get to effects and animations later. But right now, I just want to edit the textures for the units.

Hobo Joe and Red Cat ModdingIs it possible to simply place the textures over the existing textures? Will that be enough or must we delete the existing textures and create our own?

Best way to do it is with paint.net, add another layer and then paste your texture over the texture you want to change
