1. Rommel - With just 4 divisions, he swept through North Africa, until Nile 2. Zhukov - Commanding an obliterated army with low on morale, supplies is always difficult, let alone the enemy. 3. Canaries - Opposing Hitler while being at the top of an organization is not for the faint hearted. Though he may not be a commander, (or is he?), he is worth being mentioned.
Other honorary mentions - Stauffenberg, Yamamoto, Guderian, Manstein.

It's kinda off one of my historical interests, but Alecander is not given credit were he should have, not as much as Montgomery who took all the attention as THE british general

But none of the Canadian generals were recognized. It happened to a lot of countries.
