Ok so I bought Kutaisov for Artillery trainer for Sophia, Then I decided to keep him and level him up..... If i regroup him into sophia or the other way around (i dont know which) would the rank/nobolty will add up into sophia? or does it just add a star on Sophia?

Rank and Nobility will go up on Sophia yes. It's not worth it to train a trainer specifically for that reason though, as only some of it will go to Sophia.

Only a portion of rank/nobility will transfer via regrouping. So it generally is not worth training before regrouping. However, if you are doing a farming and you have an extra seat for Kutaizov, then it might be better to keep him for a while since that allows you to indirectly train Sophia at the same time. If you do not have other general to take the seat, that is.
