Yeah, I remember there was such a trick in EW4. But I was too lazy to use it. Conquest is a long story and if You need to switch medals between generals every turn it could make it endless The difference is that in EW 4 it was possible to change weapons in the mission. But no weapon in EW4 was as effective as for example Blitzkrieg medal (maybe only Snare drum)... But You can win conquest without such a trick so using it will only make You play it much longer. It is not interest killer - it's time killer!

And in conquests first turns are most important, no need to do this afterwards... Well.. in the very beginning.. probably somewhere when You have several art/tank gens from the very start. Maybe.

I never was a s/l player either, though...
But who knows... Maybe Modern war campaigns are a pain in ---- And this is really helpful in this case...

Ok I definitely don't want to torture you any longer. It is a feature very similar to what we had in EW4. For example, you have Guderian with Blitzkrieg, Panzer leader and Armored Assault (all skills boosted with medals). You attack, then go to HQ and give all these medals to your second tank general and after loading your save he can attack with Blitzkrieg 90% probability and so on. Exactly the same works for best Art skills like Accuracy and Art Leader. I discovered it by chance in conquest, so it possible to do the same in conquests. In other words every of our tank generals has every turn 90% probability of no retaliation, 60% probability of Leader skill etc... Ooh, that's cool. That means both my Konev AND Leeb can get the medal! (I don't have them anymore, my data got wiped btw)

S/L is way faster than this. Especially Blitz. It seems to trigger almost everytime I attack important target even at Lv 1.
But it's not the case with Pz Leader. I remembered having to SL multiple times so I can destroy Zhukov (which I forgot was a target) in "Conquer Europe" with 3*.
Just my luck it seems.

Interesting tip 4sure.. but i am probably not gonna use it since it feels like cheating Still good ! M8! Sincerely It could be some kind of cheat only if we were not supposed to do this by developers. But since we don't know what is in their minds, and since we have a similar pattern in EW4, - it can well be an integral part of game mechanics But to be serious, it is really a booster. Just for fun I tried it in one Cold war mission and completed it 4 turns earlier than usually.

Funny enough stoic, I once contemplated this idea of repeating the EW4 item swap "cheat" in WC4, before dismissing it. Even more co8ncidental was that this occured recently.

My guess that every player will decide by himself whether or not to use in campaigns. As for conquests, I think moderators have to make decision. Impact and influence of this "method" are not so obvious in conquests, but I'm sure it can influence the final outcome. Therefore let's board decide...

It's just a basic exploit of game mechanics. Is it cheating? No, not really. The developers made it this way we as players are using it. Is it super groundbreaking? Again, no, not really. I for one would never have the patience to do this lol.

It's more than enough to complete hard UN missions 3 stars without this "cheat". But if you have time you can do it. If it makes your game a lot more enjoyable I don't see why not.
