Okay, This won't start soon (unless everyone or a majority want to start it but with the WW1 Alt hist going world war mode it is unlikely. This is about Kaiserrich. A mod for HOI 4/whatever person came up with the idea from a reddit forum. I think it shall include most countries that play A major role (I don't know if we have enough players to do everything but I will give it a shot.) Here is the nations.

While I love the Kaiserreich mod, I'm going to have to wait to signup. Obviously, I'm running the 1900s RP, so that doesn't help, but I have also already reserved a spot in the JapaneseGamer5USA's future RP. |

Same with the future game and I am also playing in the WW1 RP. Thats why I want this to be like a reserve game where you can sign up and when you are done with other stuff we can begin. I also feel like this would take some time to get enough people on board with this so It kinda works out. |

Hey question. Even though I am a GM does anyone mind me playing a nation (Only will be major if no one decides they want that major most likely Austria as they are so tiny.)

I personally don't know if I trust "newer" GMs to have less bias. It's nothing against you, but I know that being new to all of this stuff may sometimes corrupt your view of it. I am forever against any GM claiming a major, but in my eyes, tiny ones can be negotiated. |

I try to have no bias on any situation but I don't know if I can not get corrupted. I guess I will just go with whatever small nation is left. I'm thinking Ma clique (Like on of the worst areas in china as I don't believe it has any of the good agriculture areas.) will be left after all this. |

Austria tends to be pretty powerful in the endgame, especially after uniting the Dual Monarchy. I'd advise you not to play Austria. Now, a point I'd like to bring up is Civil Wars. KR has its fair share, with the Second American Civil War and the Spanish Civil War. 1) Would you as GM make civil wars unavoidable? They prevent powers from getting too strong in the early game, which is key for balancing. There are options in KR which avoid civil war, sure, but Alt-His brings all the more possiblilty, without the tangible PP hit, or factory output drop, or consumer goods rise. Overall, players can and will squirrel their way out of what normally would mean negative PP and bad stability. 2) Will Civil War factions be player-led, as they tend to be pretty significant? |

If I were to put in options to get rid of civil wars I would have to shorten turns so we can see progression as with national focuses. I think I will make civil wars inevitable because It's a major part of Kaiserreich. Also with the Austria thing I will take the advise and not play them. like Gaius Julius Caesar said I shouldn't ever take a major. 2. If you mean from other players I have a solution for that. Take the ideology in the civil war and choose one of the players from the same ideology and let them make (If they can.) a separate turn for them. I don't know if we have any nationalist nations. Question for all of you, When the Second American Civil War breaks out are we counting New England as A major players in it? also do you intend to join? edit: Also I would make factory output go down with civil wars ect and if people really want out of the civil war I will make them take a hit to overall unrest and production rate from strikes ect. |
