Frackfracfrack.
Had to disconnect battery/power. Lost all my general, progress, 6800 credits, items (lots including snare, war horse, 2x +6 rifles, various armour, Cav weaps... lots more) - GONE. WTF??
ANY suggestions - and please no wise-*Auto corrected* quips - it's not funny and I am mightily upset.

I can empathize with you, as I relatively recently lost a ton of progress on WC4 because of a random phone shutdown. Couldn't do anything about my case, and it's unlikely you can do anything about your massive loss either.

Does anyone know if I can force a "restore" by modding. I just want back what I *had*.
I don't know the first thing about how to mod. Time to learn something new.

If you didn’t save a backup manually to another device(aka computer), unfortunately it’s lost, forever. No one can recover it for you, including easy tech.
I know this will get you upset, but that’s the truth.

If you were on an iOS, if you had synced to Game Center, then your stuff would be saved. I'm not sure about android

pathdoc dude - you usually have good advice. Any help here? Not this time, sorry. You are living out my worst EW4 nightmare here, since my Kindle platform version can't sync to game centre and I don't know where to grab a backup file from. |

My sincere condolences to the OP.
I know i would feel gutted if it happened to me.
Does anyone know of a way to save files for such case if the battery dies?
I have a samsung andriod.

I don't know any method to backup the score on unrooted devices. pathdoc had this already twice. I can take out my battery without dammage to my savings, so I assume that maybe the shutdown comes too late and during the 'propper closing' the battery collapsed. If anyone knows a way to backup the score unrooted, this will be great knowledge to share. |
