It’s not useless. You have to try. Yep. This strategy really places an extra heavy emphasis on having strong AND upgraded gens because of an assumed low tech status. By now, your fundamental skills (Armoured Assault, Accuracy, Rumour, Blitzkrieg and all leader skills) must be at lvl 4 or 5. Try to move your gens back towards Novikovs city. (Now yours) So after the buff is over, move back towards Konev/Bargeman.

They are upgraded really high except when the buff happened it’s all over Remember to park Nimitz close to Konev so he takes the nuke instead of your fragile tank generals. Also, if you're REALLY stuck, then you can consider skipping Konev and going straight for Zhukov and Timoshenko. This is how I beat this level the first time. Then later, come back and take down Konev for that three-star victory. |
