Hi
i have read various guides on general, but my academy only shows 2 tier 3 gen (Treville and Desaix), 4 tier 2 Sebastiani, Duckworth, Yorck and Eugen and a group of tier 1 which refreshes from time to time. What are the rules regulating the academy?
I have 1,000 medals (and only 1 emblem) how do i unlock Golytsin or Dobeln?
lastly, can you sell back generals given the limited number of slots?
thank you

Buy them if you want, but suggust you make do with T1 generals,as some are quite good. Never forget the free princess you also can get. And no,you can't sell back any general, only regroup them to another, will get get you something say training nobility ect..?

You are able to refresh the selection in one of the three tiers by the defeating enemies, which (if you defeat enough) will give you one of the refresh buttons at the bottom of the page. Refreshing randomly generates a new selection of generals for the tier that you choose. Also, Golitsyn and Dobeln are second tier generals, so if you want them, you'll need to refresh that section. I hope that helps.

Thank you very much, now its clear. I didnt know that you ought to press one of the three refresh to affect the tier, so i was just clicking the first (duh).
I learned that the refresh increases a bit less than 2% for every enemy general killed. Killing Regular enemy soldiers increases your general rank but not the academy refresh. I saved Trafalgar with 5 generals next to enemy generals and I refresh 4% every minute. And get 100 medals an hour, while Treville went from 44 rank to 64 (this increases with enemies killed).

You're welcome! When I first started out, I was completely confused by everything in the game! I wish Easytech would have better explanations.

Absolutely, it shouldn't be too hard to write a user manual. One point I am still confused is the General regroup: is it for one campaign only, or forever. And if forever, is it reversible.
Now I have my finaly Navy general, Treville and a navy trainer, Fischer. I wonder whether to regroup them now or keep building rank on both

Now I have my finaly Navy general, Treville and a navy trainer, Fischer. I wonder whether to regroup them now or keep building rank on both I have tried to put together a user manual, but I keep getting distracted by other things! (World of Warships at the moment.) One problem with doing this is that I haven't advanced far enough in the game or used enough of the features to be able to be completely comprehensive. I could write a manual that would get complete newbies started, but if I did it right now, whole sections would be "Don't worry about this, it isn't necessary" or "I haven't played this far yet." Regrouping is permanent for princesses; once you regroup one, you'll never get her back. So do it VERY slowly, VERY carefully, and after a LOT of thought. Generals who get regrouped recycle in the HQ store eventually. I'm sure if you ran stats on the generals most purchased, you'd find Agha (cavalry trainer), Kutaisov (artillery trainer) and Diez (movement trainer) well ahead of the rest.

Well in case you change your mind on writing the Manual, let me know😜. So I assume the regroup is permanent also for generals, with the only difference that you can buy him again from the Academy while there is only one version of each princess?

Never regroup a princess EVER! Buy more slots for christ sakes! they are cheap. Regrouping to make room is not going to work. Never get them princess's back. Btw the manual is here,on this board, just have to read and ask😉

Regrouping to make room is not going to work. Sorry, what do you mean? Say,,you have 4 slots, and want buy a general or add a princess. No room unless another slot is bought. Regrouping a good asset on another just to make room is not wise.

Absolutely. I swore I was never going to buy slots, so I regrouped Fatimah. After I weakened, I realised what a terrible mistake this had been (for creating medal grinds, playing small nations for fun, etc). I am currently playing on two platforms, and when I get her on the second one I'm opening up the slots so I can keep her.
