France 1800 conquest

You are doing good for turn 11.
On forts,, avoid them if possible,if you have to engage,use grenadiers or guards surround them if possible sometimes instead of attacking build a bunker before,lessens damage,up to you.
Also you may consider making southerly move to Nancy,let the Brits weaken north units and you come up from the south to take Paris,that's what i did.
Don't worry about income as you upgrade cities(or capture Paris)you will have plenty soon.
Remember,you will get Sofia if you are successful and she will be best for destroying forts later and best allround artillery general.

Challenging Asia is for later, when you're completing the game in under 40 turns (usually requires playing as Holy Roman Empire and having some pretty hardcore generals and/or princesses), and ready to try winning Sakurako and Lan. Until then, rule Europe. 

Now that you have Sophia, you need to grind medals to get Kutaisov and regroup him into her (be very careful not to do it the other way around or you will lose her forever and have to restart). This will boost her artillery stars and make her more powerful and useful. Also, look for the posts on how to grind rank and medals - in short, make a saved game where you have an enemy city surrounded with a combination of elite infantry and cavalry, with a cannon just beyond (but still in firing range) and the enemy unit inside is double-demoralised and about to die. At this point, save the game and quit out. Now reload the save, put Sophia on the artillery or any other generals you want to boost on the inf. or cav, and use them to finish the enemy unit off. Do not save at this point; simply go on to the next turn and wait for the enemy unit to respawn over and over with each turn and kill it over and over, making sure the finishing blow is completed with a general or a princess. When you get bored of this, do not save but simply quit out. If you like the progress you are making elsewhere (e.g. you are winning a lot of medals with battles), save it into a different slot, but leave the original setup alone in case you want to use it to train different generals and princesses.

In that way you can reload the save any time you like to train any combination of up to three generals or princesses (assuming you are playing the game with Russia or some other power that will only let you spawn three).

Elsewhere on the battlefield, simply fight a delaying, defensive action aiming to kill enemies but not advance, and making sure they don't interfere with what your generals are doing. Remember, this is your training ground, not a conquest you aim to win.

HQ SHOP refresh is daily, while HQ ACADEMY refresh depends on how many kills your troops have.
To get Academy refresh, you have to kill enemies. Normal troops having the least % contributing to a refresh while gens contribute more.


What do you mean by train? If you mean increase nobility, you can read the 《Farming Nobility》 thread. If you mean rank, you can read any 《Rank Farming》 thread .
If you mean *, you have to regroup trainers into them.

So off to america than ! By training i mean what padhoc wrote earlier, to surround an enemy city and kill its troops and wait for another unit to respawn. Generals get more stars that way and i get more medals that way right ? Oh and campaign looks easy suddelny ive been busy at work but im about to finish coalition and france.
