I got a 45 turn run with the natives on 1812, I probably could've done better too, is this anything spectacular? I've felt the native Americans we're very very underpowered.

Did you have generals or princesses, or did you run with what you've got in-game? This can make a HUGE difference to finishing quickly vs. struggling to finish at all.
If you didn't use generals or princesses from the academy, you would appear to have done very well, and some hints about how you did it would be appreciated!
They are weak, but they are central - so stealing from allies and enemies alike can build your economy quickly and put you on a level footing with the major powers.

I used oudinot for the ruins (along with an invading gen), a cav berthie, and lan for running all around, and Isabella and cornplanter for spain/france.The issue I had is that oudinot is far far to slow, so if I redo a run I'm probably going to use a faster gen then him, maybe murat.

Actually Indians start very strong in 1812. They have several good units you can put generals on right way.

Yeah but very few units in such a vast areas is tough if you don't have any good generals. They have real bad economy. I took a stable a village and a port above Cleveland as france which was empty. They just spammed single formation militia when I threatened their main city.

In 1812 there are also a ton of tavern generals. If the Indians can take fort dearborn, the french city, and washington d.c. Its pretty easy to use those tavern generals to finish up the conquests.

Fortdearborn - collapse of western side of US St.Louis and Washington- collapse of France and US itself. By collapse, I mean huge economic loss. So yeah it would speed up the mop up (I've got good rhyming skills btw)

Kate is always easy to get (up to round 65/66)
In American conquests the targets for Asia are: Round 25, R35, (R45)
(Asia: R30, R40 for European conquests.
