Europa Universalis IV. I might have said Age of Civilizations II if I played it. Both are really grand strategy games. Although i like hoi4 for its serious layout, eu4 and ageofcivi2 also make good choices😋 |

Crusader Kings 2 is a game I'm on now and it's quite good.
Sid Meier's Civilization V/VI are both very good.

I tried CK2 for a full 9 minutes but I didn't understand how these buttons work (mind you I can play the "complicated" eu4 almost perfectly in terms of buttons) and was like "My computer makes me have to wait for it to load in the weirdest way, let's just not play it even though you got a good deal on this HUGE steam sale and should enjoy it because you wanted to play it." |

I chose WC3 because...I'm unfortunately too poor for the rest. As of WC4, if we can unlock the apk for modding, that'll do for my second choice.
I would like to try the others, but don't have the money to buy any. Yes, I know some of these games are currently on sale but I still don't have the money.
There are other strategy games out there that I enjoy (Total War, Company of Heroes, Call of War, etc).

EU4 for me. While the world conqueror games were good they just don't even feel like they are in the same ballpark as EU4. Reason is it is addicting for me. You can unify Germany, usher in a new era of Roman might, ride south and establish the Qing, there is just so much to do. Now i will crawl under my rock again, cheerio.

Since I don’t own a PC, my choice was between WC3, WC4 and AoC. My choice is WC4 for now, because AoC I was way too simple, and WC4 looks somewhat like EW4, which is my favourite strategy game ever. But, with the depth that is being added to AoC II, I guess it will become my new choice.
