If anyone is interested in Chess, I highly recommend download the Play Magnus app. It's made by Magnus Carlsen, the number one chess player in the world, and allows you to play him at his various stages of life from 5 years old to 27. With my current skills I've managed to beat 8 years old several times. I don't think I can defeat 9 years old just yet. Lol, I recently redeveloped my interest for chess. I saw that app, but I went passed it.

Anyway a random announcement, I feel 60% back in shape in WC4 after playingWC4 for 2 days in my free time, so I hope to be 80% by the time speed runs begins Magnus at age 14 is already Grandmaster status, definitely a challenge.

Hadn't played since then except for the odd game against friends. Forgot all types of strategy and openings now I have to learn them again.

Well I have won only 2 times, and there have been a few stalemates on both side, but it is really hard to play

Checkers for me at that time was so bland and basic. Chess offers a sort of variety to units, therefore allowing more tactics, etc. I stopped at 6th grade due to my interest to history (not just liking it, but studying it). I returned in 8th grade, and then stopped. Then I returned to chess a few weeks ago. I have to say, it's good to be back in chess.

Ya, I heard that on the radio, he was 76. He was the Albert Einstein of our time really so a big loss for the physics and science world.
I think one of the things that made him so popular was his rare ability to communicate very complicated science concepts in ways that common people could understand.

TBH he had no other option given his condition, actually given his condition I'm surprised that he lived this long, but at least his life was fullfilled

Random: Who knew setting up the stage for an RP to start can take so long. I took close to an hour to PM all 6 players, create/update the necessary threads & to type out the background info.
I really must give <Respect> shoutout for my predecessors who set up RPs manually.

Me 2 weeks ago: All the snow melted! Spring is coming! Me today waking up: wait, why is the earth white again? That's not supposed to happen! Well that's a pretty common thing in northern regions and sometimes even further to south
