On the topic of food, what are some food that you think requires an acquired taste to appreciate? Grits. A dish in the southern states, and it's pretty disgusting to try even if you're open minded. I've tried. The only way a person could enjoy grits is if he grew up with it as a familiar food. If you didn't grew up eating it, there's no way to acquire a taste for it without throwing up.  My wife enjoy grits because she grew up with it made in a specific way (which means that other ways of making grits doesn't taste good to her). She said she understands that people would either love grits or hate them, depending on their childhood. Her words. I gotta agree with that. |

Idk, I think the taste itself is good, but the aftertaste... It's bitter, and that's where it gets hard to enjoy it. I agree with you, it's an acquired taste, and I didn't quite got used to it until my teenage years. Now, I like it ever since then. |

Hey! The numbers from 1 to 9 is identical to the numbers used in American Sign Language (ten is different). I didn't know that the military uses our numbers.

There's a new video game coming out next Tuesday (February 13) called Kingdom Come Deliverance that I am super excited for. It's a ulta-realistic first person rpg set in medieval Bohemia. Not only does the gameplay seem fun, but also the story of the game, including the locations and the characters, is historically accurate. I can't wait to play it!
I just thought I would advertise this game, since after all this is a game forum!

I just discovered it a couple weeks ago, but based on all the videos from I've seen, it has come a long way. The new videos (less than a month old) look amazing, so I have high hopes for it.
