if leclerc had an extra skill slot, with 3 skills other than city fighting and panzer leader being crossfire, plain fighting and rumour, he will undoubtedly surpass montgomery in the king of defense. But still...

France should be 2 stars. Good resources but most of its generals are crappy. Ha, I wonder what China would be in that situation West Germany is 2 stars but it has MANSTEIN...

Well, Leclerc is a good tank general that can become fantastic. You can give him Armored Assault, max his movement, max Panzer Leader, max Street Fighting and he will be great to attack cities. He is also quite cheap, you can use him as a cheap alternative to Rommel if you can’t complete his discount missions or need a second tank general quickly. By far the best French general in the game.

btw street fighting increases your damage when you are in a city, not towards cities. Damage boost against cities is called explosives

Wow, Leclerc is very dangerous when playing as Spain in 1939, as he is much stronger than Franco and can kill him in the blink of an eye. This also means that he can capture some important cities such as Barcelona.

I managed to defeat him without losing much territory. Yes, you have to spam howitzers on him and hold the ground until the Germans start invading France.
