The only Polish commander in the game alongside Rokossovsky. I’d like to see someone doing a full Poland 1939 Conquest using only Smigly and Rokossovsky as generals.

As a defensive general if you want to get smigly the last slot will be for rumour, but like always infantry defense generals are not recommended Give him all of his artillery stars, give him Rumor and max it, and he will become a decent defensive artillery general. Might get a bit expensive, but you can make him useful. Due to that high speed of his (He is as fast as Leeb can be), you can also use him in a supportive role. Adding Rumor is too good. It makes everyone that has at least 3 stars on Tank, Artillery or Navy and in movement a decent supporting or defensive general, depending on the skills. Oh, and it only works with silver and gold tiers. |

That is also true, but both the Soviets and Polish directly invade Germany during the Cold War campaigns and the 1950 Conquest.

Yeah.
Too bad they didn’t have Smigly said something like “Now we will get revenge!”
Of course, that is anachronistic, but the Cold War wasn’t a real war and most of the generals in the game were either deceased or retired after WW2. Manstein is an exception of sorts as he was called to help organizing West Germany's military.
