Yeah,he can be a good artillery general..yet you have a painful decision choose between accuracy or rumor huge oof EDIT: also consider that crossfire on artillery is kinda worthless unless you are playing 1939-43 conquest because 1950-80 artillery and rockets get 100%-80% of getting counter attacked...also most 1980 commanders will have blitzkrieg or guerrilla. Heh unless your better generals like guderian and konev defeat the 1980 generals first, I picture Zhang going against titan tanks in faraway cities from the main action |

Better than Govorov, to be honest. Although Crossfire is somewhat unusual for an artillery general, it is better than Artillery Barrage.

Paulus will agree with my opinion that he is the 3rd best artilery non iap general |

Yeah, I distanced myself because I got interested in other games, but I wanted to play a strategy game that passed during WW2 and remembered that I had World Conqueror 4.
Game is much easier for me than before. However I’m fairly inexperienced so I had to restart various times to be able to make effective progress.

Zhang would be better than Leeb if he had accuracy instead of Crossfire. Ace Forces is better than Plain Fighting.

A general with pure defensive skills would be a pain...imagine a general with marshal rank with Max entrenchment,camouflage,shelter,cover and ace forces with a super tank or even worse super cruiser/missile cruiser....i would cry every time.... Montgomery in Rommel's last discount mission is hellish to defeat because he has Level 4 Crossfire. The most hellish would be: A General on a Super Tank with Marshal rank with HP shield on a Capital with Field Hospital, Level 5 Plain Fighting and Level 5 Street Fighting, both boosted by medal (Plain Fighting and Street Fighting are boosted by the same medal and stack when the General is on a city), Level 5 Machinist boosted by Medal, Level 5 Crossfire boosted by Medal and Level 5 Rumor. Level 5 Medal-boosted Machinist + Field Hospital means the general recovers 55 HP per turn. |

And you can make Montgomery super close to that. He already has Plain Fighting and Crossfire. Give him also Street Fighting and Rumor. Then fully upgrade his rank, skills, give him his 6th tank star, give him the PF/SF and Crossfire medals, put him on a Super Tank and place him inside a Capital with a Field Hospital, then surround him with Rocket Launchers. It will be like the Battle of Stalingrad for the enemy.
