here it is Go to the game and turn on the grid. Count how many hexes away from the old Shanghai the new one will be (With a quick look I would say two to the left). Now take the coordinates of Shanghai (first four digits from the city code) and reverse them. I mean if it says c00a, make it ac0 ONLY FOR THE MATH. The math is the following: Coordinates+102c=Address ac0+102c=1aec 1aec is the address of Shanghai in the .btl file. As you probably already know, the hexes in .btl go from left to right. Therefore, click on the hex byte that is two bytes on the left of Shanghai's byte and look at its address. Now do the previous math with the new address to find the new coordinates: Address-102c=Coordinates 1aea-102c=Abe Now reverse the new coordinates abe>be0a and and change the old ones with the new ones (change c00a to be0a) and you are done. credits to Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb

Konstantin K. Rokossovsky, How to add cities: Take an existing city and copy it. Change its coordinates like you do when moving cities. When you are done with modifying the city, add +1 to the building count at the beginning of the file. It is the 8th line from the start. How to name cities: Go to the stringtable and find the city block. Add the name of a new city there and give it a unique DECIMAL code. Now back to the conquest file. One important note here: You must have noticed that in the city codes thread there are some cities with numbers after theie coordinates while there are others that don't. Also notice that all cities without these numbers are unnamed. Obviously, THESE NUMBERS ARE THE HEX EQUIVALENT OF THE DECIMAL CITY CODES IN THE STRINGTABLE. So now, all you have to do is convert your code into hex, reverse it (like the coordinates) and place it next to the coordinates of your city. If it already has numbers, just change them.
