You modify the def army file. Change all the troop’s weapons to specifically guns. It has to be plural.

Mao Ze Dong, what about adding another country in hex files. Like adding Prussia onto 1775 america map?

Easy way: replace another country with Prussia by changing xxx. in each corresponding location of the country code in the conquest files To pru. (I use HxD)
Hard way: copy and paste the code from an existing source, but be sure to change the code for the hex map coding and add 1 to the faction count.
