*gasps* Without Guderian!?!?! I didn't need Guderian after all!?!?!?!? *faints* Well, I have not bought Guderian not because he is "bad", but exactly the opposite, because he is the best general in the game. As I said once: "All players in the world will buy Guderian... Good enough reason for me not to do so" Well, seems like you are not only The World's Fastest Conqueror Leaving Guderian Behind, but it seems you would need a Medal of Honor, a Star of the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross, and a Victoria Medal along with a Legion Of Honor and a Hero of the Soviet Union medal for resisting the urge to buy Guderian, and finish the game without him!

Hey stoic, if you ever try the game again, I have a challenge for you: Complete the game using only German generals. You cant use Manstein. That means you will have to buy those 8 generals: Bock Heinrici Leeb Model Kesselring Guderian Rundstedt Rommel

Yep. All of the German generals are decent, and capable of being strong, even Kesselring. You can use Kes as either an Infantry/Air hybrid or an Artillery/Air hybrid. If you want him to be Infantry/Air, give him his 5th Infantry star, his other movement stars, max his skills and give him max Raider. Put him on a Mechanized Infantry and he will deal huge damage to fortifications and cities. And after he has destroyed a city with an airport, use him to deliver airstrikes and fix the city, especially if it is a capital.
Or you could give him his Artillery stars and Rumor alongside maxing his skills and movement stars, though he would be a weaker Arnold. So he is better as Infantry/Air.
