I would suggest that you take France instead of the USA. Having the two strongest Allied countries under your control just seems unbalanced. After France is defeated, it will become a two star country in Africa so it would be better to control a powerful country and a lesser country like General William T. Sherman controlling Japan and Thailand. Then Vatutin can take the USA |

The Germans I'm guessing? And when Vichy France is established, they cannot attack the Allies or Axis, but they can attack the Free French Forces or the Allies if they attack them. |

I say the USA should start nuke production at 1943 or so (late 1943?) and then Germany will start research at late 1944 (rigged so that Germany can't build nukes) |

Well no, nukes could potentially turn any tides of battles around, flatten cities, etc. I personally don't mind with the usage of nukes, as America most probably would use it against the Axis if they haven't fallen yet in 1945. But we have huge frictions and debates with OPness in the last war, and nukes will not solve this issue. Especially if only the Americans have it.. |

This is history though and the USA had nukes in 1943. And it isn't OP if it takes 15 turns to research nukes, and then many more turns to make a couple. And nuking a city will influence one battle, which air defense can limit the potential.

All very good points. Im really on the fence with this, but im thinking it might be best to go without nukes to prevent arguement. Even if it takes 20 turns to build a nuke, thats 4 phases, and if, say, British forces were outside Berlin and had finished their phase, and I just built a nuke, that whole offensive would be done for if i dropped it there. Depending on the distance, the city might be damaged as well but still. Would very frustrating.
