I bought the Eagle flag by accident and want to sell it. Is my best option to put Fatimah on a shop in any campaign? Are all shops the same when it comes to selling?
Also, how come I can't equip anyone with the flag?

As long as Fatimah has 5 business stars, you will have full refund in any shop in any campaign/scenario.
And for the flags, only generals with ability "Banner" can equip flags.

She's only got the 3 stars but she's the best I've got and I can't see any point in upgrading her at this point as I already have warhorse, snare drum & big tent. With 3 business stars you don't get full refund. But to have 5 stars you will have to train Fatimah twice, which mean medals for two trainers (500 medals, maybe more).

I would sell it. It's not worth trying to train Fatimah up to five stars when there are better uses for your medals.

The shops are all the same. Except in the headquarter, where thereβs no discount at all.

As long as you don't have a 5β
Trading General I recommend to keep one Savegame Austerlitz(Coalition) with the given Alexander(5*) in Prague.
You can use this save for selling Items at best price (1 Campaign-Star = 4 Medals)

How do we sell items? In headquarters or in campaign shops? Preferably do so in Campaign shops using a gen with 5* in Trade to maximise the amount of Medals earned. We have Battle of Austerlitz with Tsar Alexander I as our guy. Tap on the item and press the <Sell> button. There's no confirmation prompt so be careful! The item will need to be unequipped for you to be able to sell it if it's an Item which you can equip to a gen. |

Alexander starts in Smolensk so it takes some time to get him to Vienna. For that battle I recommend letting the French take the towns then flank them from the North and use the lightly defended western bridge over the Danube. |
