U will get gates (blue one, better inf general than clinton) from last american revolution mission. Yep just got him. So he's the last free general? How are people saving all the way up for Murat right out of the gate, it seems like a Guderian level grind. I m in canada missions but what i understood from the more advanced players posts is he is the last one. But u will see some generals in challenges. (Hood-naval, lannes-inf, john-art. , bagration-cavalry) they have discounts if u achieve their missions. ( like rommel, konev in wc4) Grinding medal is not as hard as wc4 or ew5 i think. And yes, probably murat will be our guderian, but this game have a lot of good generals, good generals are not limited like wc4 imo. |

I can’t see a mechanism for re-grouping. I guess this means I need to be ultra careful about who I pick. I’ll go for a South American flavoured line-up.

How are people saving all the way up for Murat right out of the gate, it seems like a Guderian level grind. It is pretty much a Guderian level grind, but a bit easier. Early game medal grinding in EW6 is easier then in WC4, because it is the same as WC4's tasks. You get 3 free generals for completed the American campaigns, which you can use to do up to 3 tasks at a time, and this time they only take 6 hours instead of 8. In WC4 you need to purchase a bunch of units to grind for medals and every time they die, you need to buy them once again, which you can't afford in early games, you also don't have good units at the start of the game, while the enemy often has stronger units and they deploy more then you can and then there is also the difference in tech upgrades, which you are lacking. While in EW6 you just send a general on a mission and 6 hours later you collect your free gold medals and flowers. |
