I think so. Washington has ambush and alert, giving him significantly higher survivability, where as Suvorov has mountain (not useful when you have plain) and inspiration. Morale imo, does not have a large impact at all, the only thing that's significant about it is that it's possible to stunlock a unit if their morale is lowered enough. Which is really hard to do because most of the units that can reduce morale are too expensive and rumor doesn't exist. No idea why Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus seems to value inspiration so much. In Massena’s case, it’s thankfully forgivable. It makes him worse than only Karl. Not really. Massena is somewhat crippled by not having a good terrain skill, like Karl does. He has lower output than Washington, Suvorov, Bismarck and Lannes. The reason why Massena is so highly regarded is that he has an aura and is really cheap while still doing respectable damage, but don't tell me that he's worse than only Karl.

And thus I bought Massena because I felt safer with him.

Suvorov is a lifesaver for people playing the game without auras. His output is high, and he has good hybrid potential.

If it weren't for his mountain fighting he would be a great general. 4 star It's still good tho.

For using him, I would say: don't be fooled by his "low" infantry ability. Suvorov is everything but a weak or a nerfed infantry general. Once he reaches the title of King, he has the highest battle ability of the game, equivalent (if not superior) to the Russian generals of the Crimean War. One of his biggest assets is Formation Master and its critical strikes. So, just give him the Iron Cross Medal (increase the damages of critical hits by 20%) the Ferguson Rifle and the Royal Sceptre. Then, admire the result once he deals a critical hit. He actually hits harder than Karl (who lacks Assault, after all) and his as efficient on mountains than on plains. Not to mention the bonus of damages once Inspiration triggers. Perhaps would you rather give him the Officer Sword to "improve" even more his battle ability?
He is expensive for sure, but still cheaper than Bismarck, Karl or Washington and by no means inferior to them. This is why I give him 5/5.

Suvorov's versatility is outstanding but for infantry you have the commander triplets.
