He is pretty good. He is similar to Washington, who is not a bad choice what so ever. These 2 guys are great for inf. Lannes is good as well. But Karl, Massena, And Barclay are so much better

Nobody can deny that he is good. However, he isn’t really needed. Massena has higher output and much better team player, Suvorov or Washington are 600 medals more, but their plain fighting gives them a massive advantage over bolivar. Karl is actually also 600 medals more and stronger than the both Suv and Washington.
Furthermore, even Lannes would be a superior choice as he is 500 medals cheaper but is a far better meatshield with constantly active modifiers. But he is worth appreciating for what he is.

Bolivar has the following 5 skills: Assualt (very good), formation master (very good), alert (worthless), counterrattack (meh), and inspiration (good). Lannes has assualt, tunnel, intercept, and plain fighting (all very good skills). I’d say that Lannes 4 skills are better than bolivar’s five like john’s 4 are better than moltke’s 5. Basically Suvorov/Washington lite. He might have a nice price tag that's nice and cheap, but there are far better options. Just save up for Suvorov or Washington. He lacks plain fighting, which, btw, is essential unless you're somebody who's OP.

Simon Bolivar has a lot of sentimental value to me. He played a key role in the founding of Venezuela, of which I have nationality. I don’t live there, but the country used to be great before Hugo Chavez and Maduro.
I’m very grateful that he was included as a good general in this game.

I rate him 4 stars. He can reach Emperor rank and is cheap for a gold tier, but Alert and Counterattack are meh skills for an Infantry general. The fact that his price is the same as Massena's also makes Massena more desiring. Still a good general.
