Actually really good. well, not so much for campaign, but really good for conquests. I just wish his terrain skill was a bit better as there’s not too many cities around mountains. cojoncio is using him, and I’m not surprised to see his results, and I’m really considering getting him myself since I’m doing LTC conquests these days. Also he’s one of the greatest generals irl and has a cool hat and beard. Bicornes are too boring in this game. 5 star. Mf is still a good skill regardless. Remember he has ambush as well so he can be a good offensive general. Speaking of which, I actually think that infantry might be the ideal path for non iap players as you get access to 3 aura buff generals as opposed to just two on artillery of cavarly Many players like the ”Massena, Karl and Barclay” build. I’m just someone that likes cavalry more than Infantry. |

Now I am genuinely confused, is this guy good or not? As he is the best of all the generals with tactics master (ability to attack twice). That combined with tunnel can make him quite devastating against cities. I imagine him being quite powerful with support from Masséna or Karl. Can someone give their opinion on him as he is a very confusing general to rate, cuz to me he seems better than Wellesley at the start. He is quite cheap too. Well, he is arguably one of the three best non-Aura infantry generals alongside Bismarck and Lannes. |

I’ve changed my mind about him. He’s good, but mountain just doesn’t really work for a city sieger since there aren’t a lot of cities around mountains. He’s probably still on par with Lannes and Bismarck since tactic master is a slightly less than 20% damage increase on average, bit too RNG, but still very good. Still better than Washington, Bolivar, Suvorov and Suchet. |

Aight guys I have two slots available. I was thinking of giving them to maria and garibaldi. Or I buy another cav like ney (already have lan) and another art like scharnhorst. I have the main buffers already

I have the main buffers already Scharnhorst is better than Maria. Yeah, she has tactics master, but Scharnhorst will do more damage overall (and be more consistent). And I think Massena & Barclay are strong enough siegers unless you want to do some very specific strategies for speedrunning. So Ney instead of Garibaldi. |
