I cant win this. The allies are too insane, they love the northern us city and the time I take the British then it's a tonne of riflemen I can't get through to retake that city. They spawn three units a turn. The ally sends one unit to middle one to South just to die.

If all the existing guides fail even with upgraded troop tech, then we may explore other options together.

Healing items on your generals is really useful. It doesn't guarantee a win, but it enables you to play a bit more aggressive so you can capture cities faster, thus preventing your northern allies from being overrun by the Spanish.

The Spanish will spam, so you need to make sure they do not take anything

It is a good idea not gonna lie, but seriously there are very few beginners with healing items. The best you will see is the one that restores 10 hp per round which does heal but very slowly. Everything before British campaign is quite beginner except maybe HRE, most beginners just 2 star this then 3 star it once they get better techs. But I wasted a lot of time trying to get the 3 star and just barely got it this time. But if you want to 3 star this, you most likely want to 2 or 1 star it first.

Just use every unit to take the city north. Then push south to the central city the natives hold,(watch out for natives reinforcements coming in north)they are weak though so militia or line spam is good enough. Don't worry about your allies they will not help much other than cause a distraction Important that you capture the central city before your allies so you get the factory. Avoid/ignore the fort. Then spam artillery for an easy push for Dallas.

I was able to finish it at 2 stars with only Massena, but i got tired of him dying too often than i bought an ambulance and rifle for him. Did the same strat of helping the north and got 3 stars. But yeah, focus on getting 1 or 2 stars so you can advance to the french quest, which are easy except the last one, which would be a pain to 3 star.

Using only free generals, finished in 12.
I was crashing into the spawn until upgraded tech. Don’t forget to upgrade movement.
You should try to max inf, cav and arty.
Then Jourdan on the heavy arty. Stick Clinton on the Grenadier. Rush the top city. Build militia each turn and keep them moving north west. Build a farm if possible.
Also build defences before you attack specific to the unit you are attacking. First city falls around turn 4. Move everything south west, but build militia and bring more militia up. You need to occupy the stables, the city and areas north west.
Don’t attack the fort. Move to the middle city. Generals to the front. Take it on 6th turn but make sure you have enough militia to hold the first city.
When you take the middle city, defeat the spawned units and move west to help allies. They will lose the small city. Take it and take the factory/stables (can’t remember).
Now spam militia and cavalry, arty and move on the third city. Batter it until you take it.
