This is the 3rd mission in the French eagle campaign. I used the 3 free generals. I deployed Clinton and Gates at the start on the 2 infantry units. I deployed Jourdan later on a light artillery. I immediately landed my units south and captured the city. After capturing the city, the enemy cavalry will attack you. I defeated them by blocking them with my infantry and building light artillery to damage them. The enemy general Ali will than come and I defeated him the same way by focusing my artillery fire on him. After that it should be simple to capture Alexandria and than Cairo to end the. It's ion. I ignored the population limit for this mission. Besides light artillery I built cheap milita to hold the first captured city

I have found that since there are only 2 objectives, you should just take the first city and then rush with everything you have to the second one, and you can finish it in like 10 turns.

I used the 3 free gens from the American revolution chapter.Put Clinton and Gates on the 2 old guard you get at the start. First take the city at the southwest corner. It will help to ease the cavalier horde when capturing the city near the coast. Use your free corvette to destroy the light artillery wrecking your allies ship. After capping the city, demolish the stable and upgrade the city to level 3.After that build a large fort on the edge of that cities territory. It will attract the cavalier gens to attack it.Use this opportunity to use Napoleon to wreck all thier troops.Meanwhile using your other troops to take the objective city.Spawn a light artillery to put Jourden on.Then gather all your troops to go to Cairo.Ali should come out and your large fort would be able to hit him.

Take the town in extreme south west first and develop it to avoid be spanned by the cavalries. Thanks!

Murat is playable on this mission, yet I have Murat myself. This is what I call an overkill.

With barclay, massena, and karl around fully maxed, the militia will hit like that average damage
