I gave Suvorov the iron cross and 1 war drum and 1 ferguson rifle. I upgraded formation master
For the rest I gave them upgrades and the equvilent of the ferguson rifle.

Iosef Stalin, with that many gens, you could've won 3* easily. Try to switch your strategy for invading Russia. I barely managed to get a 3* with far less than you so you DEFINITELY have the potential to win 3*. Unless, you're just content with casually laying siege to & taking over all cities on the map, you CAN get 3*.

Yeah with max tech and max generals you can capture every Russian city in the map and STILL get 3 stars

U guys think its possible to 3star this using only the free generals?. The only general i bought so far is karl. Things I did; Upgrade city to level 5 then bought a rocket artillery Then I just rushed to Minsk then Smolensk I think, Then I spammed heavy cav every round till I destroyed Moscow |

Got 3....all i had to do was secure the 2 flanks,the cities above misk and below must be captured so your troops won´t be engaged in a sandwich,when on Minsk deploy barricades and spam artillery,also dont forget to use blasts because they will be very useful on this mission.

Got 3* as well. Thanks to the hint then in Smolensk is "cavalry spam" I rushed to there, completely ignoring north (at turn 3rd created 1 line infantry and at 6th second squad and take all attention from what was remaining from russian cavalry+city defenders with these 2units). Its pretty easy if you have moving upgrade and 1-2good inf(Massena+Gates, I think Gates is quite good for starting as co-worker for stronger gen.+other free generals+mission general/-s(there was 1 on Veteran Guards)+1cav general + cavalry Murat+other general who support and can outflang enemy while your infantry+cannons march and strike face to face. That was how I took Minsk: 1st strike cannons on fort 2nd - finished fort and ( turn 5or6) i capture Minsk and moved towards Smolensk stables I was there in 7-8turn and lucky for me they didn't produce single cavalry unit and flangs didn't bother me(I helped with 3th turn and 4th turn shot on south city and capture/steal it from my allies) and I took all in circle and it was easy. finished mission in 12turns. Its easy to win if you know what to expect from enemy and where to go, so nothing unreal. Just telling then this mission wasn't that nightmare how it was on European War3/4 where map was bigger and there you can't just push middle and win with blitzkrieg and by neutralizing 1 stables  |
