So this mission is impossible to 3-star now? How can I get 3-stars on it? Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, do you how? Note: I haven’t installed the version where you can now buy Desaix.

I hated those accumulation challenges in WC3. At least there is only 1 in this game. Actually 2. Theres another one in New Policy in Cairo That one is 100 times easier, though.

Here is 3 star guide. NOTE: Use ambulance and tent with Your tanky gens. Turn 1. - Place Katherine into the city - doesn't matter what level. Upgrade level 3 city with Katherine - both market and industrial zone. - Upgrade lvl2 city to lvl3, upgrade industrial zone, build University. Do not build market! - Upgrade market, industrial zone and build University in the eastern city. - DO NOT UPGRADE UNIVERSITY IN THE LVL4 CITY! Turn 2. With all You have attack central city. Turn 3. You need to capture central city this turn, otherwise restart. Upgrade lvl4 city to lvl5, upgrade industrial zone to lvl3. Turn 4. Attack last city with all You have. Turn 5. You need to capture last city this turn, otherwise restart. Upgrade city to lvl3, build industrial zone. Turn 6. Upgrade industrial zone in the last captured city. Defend!!! In 9 turns You'll win the mission with 3 star result. You can even afford couple of militia It took me 2 hours to work out the strategy P.S.: Screenshots are just for guidance how to place units in order to capture cities at turns 3 and 5. On these screenshots upper left city is upgraded to lvl4 (do not do this), upgrade lvl4 city to lvl5 at turn 3 instead. So, just follow the text description. Having Katherine is the key to 3 stars, I done everything to the last letter of Andreis strategy except not having Katherine and only got a 1 star. Out of curiosity Andrei what lvl is Katherine when you used her? Note: Don’t kill the Death's Head Hussars that stay idle. If you do, reinforcements appear. Those reinforcements aren’t tough, but they might cause you to spend more to defend. Also, if you kill all 3 Hussars and kill all reinforcements, the mission ends early, which will likely cause you to complete it with just 1 star.

It's still probably possible. It's been a long time since I played this mission, so I don't remember exactly how this one is done, but it's basically just conquer stuff as fast as possible, and when I say as fast as possible I mean as fast as possible. IIRC you can only get a 3 star if you play absolutely perfectly. Also it's easier if you have palace Sakurako, so if you got her as an admiral it's going to be harder unfortunately.

I will follow andrei's guide. I 1-starred it because I had the terrible idea of killing the Death's Head Hussars with the HP shields and the reinforcements, which caused the mission to end early,

Almost 3-starred it. Will try going directly for the cities now instead of eliminating the units around since they are pushovers.

andrei , your strategy almost works. They did change it again, for example I can’t build an university in the Level 2 city. I even captured the target cities 1 turn earlier than you recommend. It isn’t that much of an issue, though. It seems I have to upgrade Katerine to Level 2 and Sakurako to Level 2, so the princess level DOES matter.

Phew! Finally did it! Thankfully this is the last mission of this kind in the game.

Gone , congrats! Yes, there was a discussion earlier in the thread regarding the change of this mission after one of the updates I noticed it. But it didn’t seem to me that there was an up-to-date solution. Thanks, BTW.

I tried with Kathryn at max, to see what it change. I wasn't able to take the second city at turn 5, but with this princess at max, it was possible to get the third medal by this way :
On each turn, level industry and knowledge everywhere you can. And never build bunker, even to attack cities or destroy the fort.
Turn 1 : Put Kathryn in palace of the middle city - Level this city (it cost 125 instead of 250) + level market of this city. Put Sakaruto in SW city (not absolutely necessary, but why not, if you have her).
Turn 2 : Level NW city + market of this city. Turn 3 : Level middle city (it cost 200 instead of 400). At this point, you must have taken the fisrt ennemy city. If not, restart. Turn 4 : Level NW city. It does not matter to increase the level of the market now, because it costs 55$ and you will receive the same amount in 11 turns. Turn 6 : You must have invaded the 2nd enemy city. And now, you only have to defend. With this way, you can even afford to pay two or three militias. At the end, i was above 2900, with two militias paid.
As much as possible, do not destroy all the enemy cavalry. Reinforcements arrive faster when one or the other cavalry is destroyed. Try to weaken the three cavalry without destroying them.
At turn 15, doesn't matter to keep or not the cities because you have your money back.
At the end, i had more money and knowledge that i needed. And just the industry i needed (something like 1311, not more).

hmm as compared to ew6:1914, is it tougher to get 3 stars in campaign missions in ew6:1804? All the campaign missions are based on turncount, which isn't hard to get 3 stars on as long as you don't get stalemated. Challenge missions are the one with a lot of different tasks. A lot of the challenges are just tougher campaigns, but some are really intricate puzzles like this one. Crimean war is hell though. Battle of Balaclava and Siege are just ridiculous. Especially since the former wants you to use 0 cavalry generals.

Considering its actually possible to finish ew6:1914 campaign challenges with medpacks, this version seems harder, I guess. Just curious, are there medpacks in ew6:1804? Imma panic if there arent any
