And there are plenty of threads here on the forum with discussions explaining each skill and its real impact.

I have already done it. In this thread european-war-4.boards.net/thread/9858/real-gens-comparisonNow it is Your turn. Please show the math for the skills outperforming stats. I really hope You won't dissappear and we'll have good discussion.

Continue trolling without me. The value of almost every skill is in its description. However I see Your point. You don't want to prove Your statement about the stats. Normally someone making a statement provides proof. Obviously it is not about You.

I will use blucher for this example. i have a max blucher I said skills do more than stats, here is proof I have lvl 5 heavy cavalry for damage, 74 damage for heavy cav without general placing blucher on the unit increases damage to 170 His stats increase its damage by 50% attack, this increases it to 111, Therefore stats increaase damage by 37. NOw moving on to his skills His skills that affect damage are precision strike, cav commander and plain fighting With his skills the damage goes to 170, skills increase the damage by 59, stats increase the damage by only 37 I think we have a clear winner on damage

Blucher is the IAP with best skills in game. 2. He has aura. Obviously there are gens with aura. Nobody argues aura is just win-win. Try couple of gens with similar skills abd different stats. Imo no reason to compare in vacuum gen vs unit. We normally choose between gen vs gen Note: Your approach and consequently calculation is wrong as stats add not to damage, but to unit's attack. Damage formula is complicated and You could try to use search engine here to find it on the forum.

when i say damage i mean attacak and yes i will try with different gens, if i used wellesly or murat would that be fine with u Attack not equal to damage. Don't be stubborn. You made an example and compared damage. But You have no idea what influences this figure. The attack of the unit (influenced by gen's stats) influences final damage according to the formula. Skills mainly are just added on top as pure damage and most of it are situational. The only skill groups influences it greatly are aura and terrain. But, You can't say terrain skill outperform stats as.. it 100% depends on the stats Lol. Aura, I have already mentioned. It is awesome, the best one, also because it adds to the attack, not damage. If You are going to compare damage You need to know what influences damage to what extent.
