Attack not equal to damage. Don't be stubborn. You made an example and compared damage. But You have no idea what influences this figure. The attack of the unit (influenced by gen's stats) influences final damage according to the formula. Skills mainly are just added on top as pure damage and most of it are situational. The only skill groups influences it greatly are aura and terrain. But, You can't say terrain skill outperform stats as.. it 100% depends on the stats Lol. Aura, I have already mentioned. It is awesome, the best one, also because it adds to the attack, not damage. If You are going to compare damage You need to know what influences damage to what extent. i know theres a differencce between attack and damage, dont take me for an idiot. i know what influences this figure...... ive nearly completed the game im not a begginer. Sorry, but the calculation You provided for Your Blucher says You don't have a clue regarding how exactly general's stat works.

Is getting sakurako and lan a good idea? You can beat the game without sakurako. Lan is a better purchase. Although probably both will come in handy during the crimean war campaign so wouldn’t hurt getting both.

LOL. Skills just add to the stats either permanently or situationally. So You are wrong. no you are wrong now. skills do the bulk of the work. ofc stats have base attack but skills make the bulk of the damage Yeah if you compare a blue tier general to a gold tier general with similar skills, you will find that there is a significant damage difference within each. Regarding skills, skills are more of as additions than doing the bulk of the work. However, don’t expect someone with like 2 battle ability to deal much more than the common unit. There’s really no real point in having this discussion, as it is really obvious who the best generals in ew6 are lol!

So the best of the best non-IAP generals for each role are Massena for Infantry, Murat for Cavalry, Nelson for Navy and Mahmud II for Artillery?

I’m giving the game a try and depending of where I find it too difficult or not to get at least Massena without IAP, I will buy Bucher.

Westward expansion: us mission, Invading Russia as France, European Conqueror where France invades the UK. They are really bad missions but if you can at least get a 1 star with no generals, you can come back with a better tech level later and steam roll.

Rocket artillery is really strong, and siege artillery is great and completely knocking cities hp’s off. They take no retaliation the majority of the time and don’t need a healing item.

The entire crimean war challenge is just hard missions after another. But luckily, you won’t even get to it till at least 2-3 months into the game.

Swapped Davout out with Lan (sadly, no Emperor) and reinforced my Karl. Both did not reach Emperor Nobility, sadly and I have yet to swap Jourdan out. However, I managed to barely clear the Challenge. The main thing I'm interested in is who did stoic use to fill his land line up with? Also, how did he win those naval battles with land gens?!

I don’t doubt that he found a way of using his land gens on naval battles effectively. I believe that his land line is shown in the “Siege” page. I had to quit due to school work once I begun it sadly, but everything else in the game i beat 😭 Definitely doable, but you’ll probably gonna have to spend around 15$ if you want a perfect 3 star in every mission. European War 6 has the most user friendly gameplay imo, but when it is hard, it is really hard, like France in 1815
