stoic is very knowledgeable about ET games. He is someone very smart that has excellent strategies. I don’t doubt that he found a way of using his land gens on naval battles effectively. I believe that his land line is shown in the “Siege” page. Here is the link: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/9923/siege Btw, crimean war is literally impossible to 3 star every mission without iaps. Stoic had one stars in several missions. I had to quit due to school work once I begun it sadly, but everything else in the game i beat 😭 Definitely doable, but you’ll probably gonna have to spend around 15$ if you want a perfect 3 star in every mission. European War 6 has the most user friendly gameplay imo, but when it is hard, it is really hard, like France in 1815 True that. Tech here seems way easier to level up than in WC4. And yes, school is kinda annoying, but it guarantees that you become a respectable member of society and someone smart and knowledgeable. Anyway, at least the hard part of EW6 takes long to come.

Unfortunately, the beginning is also not easy. The middle is cake. You have the American and French campaign to look forward too early on. With bad mobility due to poor tech level, it is a nightmare for most players. It was for me as well.

But once you clear the European Campaigns, it is the best time because you unlock upgrades that allow your army to become great instead of just mediocre or good at best. Cold War adds the finishing touches. Just like here in EW6.

But anyways, if you can at least one star the hard missions early on, you can always come back with a better tech level for the 3 star. The hard ones in the past you can pretty much mow through with no generals with good enough tech.

In the end I had only 3 missions I completed with 2 stars - Balaclava, Baltic campaign and Siege. The rest I completed with 3 stars using only land generals. Unfortunately, some difficult missions were made close to impossible to f2p players. For example, in the Battle of Balaclava we can deploy 12 generals, but there are only 8 free slots for generals in the game. So, it was a significant disadvantage. But, if someone is satisfied with a bit less than perfect result - then it is definitely possible to complete the game with only 8 land generals.

There is Siege... Swapped Davout out with Lan (sadly, no Emperor) and reinforced my Karl. Both did not reach Emperor Nobility, sadly and I have yet to swap Jourdan out. However, I managed to barely clear the Challenge. The main thing I'm interested in is who did stoic use to fill his land line up with? Also, how did he win those naval battles with land gens?! There's only one really difficult naval mission, namely Baltic campaign. I completed Black Sea campaign relatively easy with 3 stars. The key was precise timing. I remember I tried to keep my generals close to my allies with aura as long as possible.

The fact that you could only use 8 generals for 12 general missions was a bit scummy by easytech. This is probably the only game where you could have the maximum amount of generals and still need more (ew4)

The reason is very simple: you have to complete it without cavalry generals to receive 3*. I presume, all mentally stable persons have at least one or two cavalry generals if they have 12 slots at their disposal So, to complete it with 3 stars you have to sell some of your generals, and that is no fun at all, especially if you plan to participate in "speed run" conquests. It was a dubious decision, but EW6 was a really interesting game nevertheless...

Crimea war was a grind nightmare in general. A lot of reselling and grinding, then after 3 starring a challenge, doing it for the next one. Won't do it again, wasn't even fun. Siege was the worst one I encountered. Others were simply readjusting of current line up

Gone Good luck, I think you can do it tho. Btw, has anyone here beat France 1815. Thats probably harder than the crimean war campaign. Just waves after waves of enemies and your allies capitulating due to you running out of resources

But I still won’t ever want to do them again.

Its as bad as playing the tribal union in 1815, and going up against the great algeria with sticks and stones.
