I took the plunge and updated the game. Immediately tried Sardinia and found that it still worked. It may take a few more turns to finish but summoning allies to battle is the same cost and France still cannot beat you. Your allies still win. This is my first try so may need more time for the confirmation that Sardinia still works. Waht is the number of medals (and other resources) we can receive now for completing Sardinia?

*facepalm* my game auto updated overnight... Tried the Sardinia delete all forces method, and Lannes bee lines to cap the city every time by turn 6-7. Haven’t found a way to make it work yet.

I just turned off auto updates for the AppStore 2 days ago. Lucky me if lannes make it on your island just build a militia.

Even after I get rid of Lannes, the French continue to be aggressive with their landings so it’s not possible to auto play with no units. They probably coded the French to prioritize capturing the city over fighting the nearby units. The British doesn’t arrive in time to kill the French fleet.

Cavalry has been boosted as I heard rumours of! Here are the changes to the cavalry as differences in stats: All cavalry are now a bit faster and the cheapest two are cheaper and have better defence (along with musket cavalry). It looks like cavalry generals won't be much better than they were as you'd put them on stronger cavalry which haven't changed much.

Here are the changes to the cavalry as differences in stats: All cavalry are now a bit faster and the cheapest two are cheaper and have better defence (along with musket cavalry). It looks like cavalry generals won't be much better than they were as you'd put them on stronger cavalry which haven't changed much. Not much change to Heavy Calvary but hey, at least musket Calvary gets sort of a boost. Perhaps Calvary spamming can be a thing now

I must admit I was hoping they would make a bigger change to cavalry like some increased attack and HP. It looks like they made the cheaper cavalry much more viable to build but the more expensive cavalry units are still lacking.

Did a conquest, it still gives medals! proof: i.imgur.com/jA3TnLA.jpgBy the way, in that conquest russia had over 9000 gold near the end but let the ottomans take their territory all the way up to kiev even. not sure what was going on there. also, the UK put cavalry in scotland for no reason near the end, which is similar to how units crowded to the north in WC4 conquests.
