I deployed my 6 generals (Bolivar, Paget and the 4 free one's, turned on auto and won with about 85 turns which gave me the a, and all the rewards. I didn't expect it.

Well, 5 attemts - 5 wins yesterday! Full Auto conquest after 3 or 4 turns (to hire enough units for my generals). I would label it "Best farming method for lazy buzy people"

Excellent, we need to know all the countries that are "auto friendly" I think any coalition country wouldn't be bad for 1798, you allies like Austria and Sweden spam tones, like I won it with Portugal though I did play it to defend against the Spanish. We don't see the bias against you're allies like in other games

I can't speak for everyone but personally I am ok with doing at least some of the work in conquests and then and only then have the AI take over at some point. So if 1798 Prussia is doable even in semi-auto then it might still be an option.

Just receive the update today but only version 1.0.4. No upgrade for 3 IAP gens, only add more challenges, revise unit and fix the conquest. Decide to postpone the update

There is not any new content, and challenges for sure won't compensate the loss of Sardinia...

If, on the other hand, Prussia is still an option, new daily challenges won't hurt either...
Right now I prefer Prussia over Sardinia, because of time of involvement.

But notice the reward is less than Sardinia and the number of turn is higher. I once met the nightmare Prussian conquest, when Spain can stay after the coalition steam roll and France lose his mainland but move to Italy and Naples. 144 turn to finish the conquest when AI keep their troops at home and move around stupidly.

And I have to invest only 3-4 turns in Prussia.
