Last mission for Hood. The main problem is I am having trouble keeping my musket cavalry unit alive. I put Blucher on it. I tried focusing on recapturing the city west of starting position and another time I focussed on recapturing the city Cornwells losses first. Both times the muskeg cavalry got destroyed by enemy ships as I advanced. Any tips on keeping it alive?

stoic, Thanks the defensive wall tactic worked. I still managed the mission with Blucher on the cavalry unit. Falsen's bonus were not as strong and I found deploying my other generals who had better battle ability. I didn't expect I would do all of Hood's missions without buying a naval general. Now I am not sure if I need a naval general.

Well, Nelson is like an IAP... and we have some naval telescopes waiting to be used + I think navy will play a big role in 1812 and I like having a strong ironclad fleet.

When I build my wall only 1 ship is targeted and then they go straight for the cavalry

A wall of 3 ships on the left with the most durable generals you have and a wall of 2 ships on the right with Hood . Give that musketeer a good Murat with 2 ambulances(you will need some regeneration) and avoid any conflicts or ships , running into the inner-land . When your horse is safe, then sodomize Treville on the right upper corner(who's half of his hps) . P.S. Take the upper right city first , then the left bottom and avoid Washington.

I'd suggest to max your ships' MOBILITY , otherwise no 50% discount

The best way is to kill the ship with Treville as sonn as possible with all your fleet. I even did not touch my cavalry unit in this mission. If You have luck and You will kill him before two other ally cites are captured, you win!

This mission is much easier with the best tech level possible. i took out the navy to the left then blocked off Treville from my cavarly general, murat, who easily overpowered washington.

Another strategy is to place and land your best cav gen on the given cav unit. Then, use thw unit to recapture the southern city while you quickly rush to sink the French admiral.
If you are lucky enough and move fast enough, you can win before Washington takes the northern city.

Hi all! I know that a fence reduces 10% when the cavalry attack us, but what does the symbol of the artillery mean -5% in terrain with trees? THANK YOU!
