best75 Prussia 1798 26 turns Turn 4, Warsaw falls. Turn 6, Amsterdam falls. I tried to do the bribe the Ottomans until i defeat it's allies and win strategy, but it seems it's near impossible to do as Prussia, since it has limited resources at first, unlike Austria who has enough resources and Manpower to push towards Spain ASAP. Without those resources, i am unable to formulate enough forced marches while also training units. I tried several times, the closest i got was almost winning if i could delay the Ottomans for 3 turns, which is impossible, because i managed to delay them twice(2nd donation cost almost 1000 gold), and Portugal refuses to capture the remaining 2 cities on the bottom, also Palma is a pain in the a**. Turn 18, Italy falls. The ottomans fall at turn 25, the Spaniards fall at turn 26 The deciding factor if i tie the current record or break it As always, shout out to Clausewitz. I was frustrated since i couldn't beat stoic 's record for 1815 1 star (44 turns was my closest, America pls). So i decided to reclaim my 2 star record for 1798 from dsongop instead

best75 , also,It was Denmark 1815 that i played, not Denmark 1812, so i beat stoic 's 1815 record for 2 stars, and not another tie added to 1812

stoic , just found out that donating to Columbia isn't really doing anything, since they're upgrading their cities instead of building units. It's annoying, since it's pure luck if you don't donate. Well, sooner or later they will hire units as well. I personally never had any serious problems with South America. I believe only a small sum is needed to turn the tide there...

Hmmm, i had problems with them recently. I dunno why. Maybe i shouldn't donate to them too often. But for some reason the Brazilians start to overwhelm my Columbian allies.

stoic, i'm also dedicated in using Bavaria to beat your record. It's really hard, but it's more rewarding than Egypt. If it weren't for South America, i would have finished it at turn 41.

Let me tell you one ancient story. Some scholars doubt that it is authentic, but it is a very good story indeed The shortest message in the history of diplomacyDuring one war (who knows, maybe it was one of the endless wars of Diadochi) Sparta was besieged by a huge army. And a general of this army had sent a message to the Spartans. And with a greek fine logic and eastern eloquence he threatens: "If we take Sparta - your men will be dead corps for our dogs. If we take Sparta - your children will be slaves for our fields. If we take Spatra - your wives will be a pleasure for our soldiers." etc A small note was sent back by the Spartans. There was only one word in it: "If..."

(But sone witnesses testify that the actual response was a bit shorter - "Merde!" )

Btw Deleted, Bavaria 1815 is actually very doable. I've attempted it before with 3 generals and completed the conquest in 60 turns. Right now I'm working on beating Andrei's 1806 records, and I've fell short every time so far.

dsongop i actually completed Bavaria 1815, but my problem was South America(delayed my run for 9 turns), which i will try adjusting my playstyle after finishing some of my reports. Also, 1806 is damn hard. It's near impossible to beat the records (maybe except Britain and Russia) using a coalition country because of Greenland and Egypt. Also, Britain is a problem when playing in the french side, so the best candidate to beat the records are: Saxony, Rhine lands, Denmark and France. Not to siege London as the first city may be the wise choice, since every single time i tried to siege London,i get overwhelmed, or takes me a ton of time before i capture it.
