cojoncio , Made several replays of UK1812 yesterday just to check Your "tips" It is not working unfortunately. I conquered Atlantic coast of USA (their most valuable and profitable cities) and Paris quite fast: But neither population limit nor economy was crippled. Not even near. Neither for USA nor for France. Both were spamming hoards of units during many turns: So as You see USA was defeated only by turn 18 with small allocated forces and I simply left France to deal with my allies and non-general units to finish, as France spawns strong generals in small cities easily. So Your "tip" kill USA and France in several turns and You are rich and happy is not working. You need to refresh units in the cities to hold (every turn in many places), recruit units for Your generals and to help a bit to allies. Here we come to the most important "tip" - American wonder. I don't understand when exactly You send Your Sakurako or Wellington ahead as they are overwhelmed by enemy forces in Europe easily. They are simply not strong enough to conquer new city on their way every turn as cavalry can. American wonder can easily send them deep into the enemy territory, true, but it is a suicide assault. I have to replay conquest several times because of checking this "tip". Was sending my infantry gens here and there with no success. And as I see at Your winning screen Your units are quite healthy. The main problem: by the time we are attacking Ottomans Balkans are mostly occupied. Check, even though Austria is still alive couple of non-grenadier infantry generals will die nearby the first city. They will simply be overwhelmed. After all I recieved very close result to Your 33 turns. I defeated the Ottomans by turn 34 with cavalry team and only *Auto Corrected* Algerian city didn't allow to acomplish the conquest. But that wasn't my infantry team. They are not fast enough to do it. And American wonder used once per 5 turns is not a panacea, unfortunately.
So what I can resume: UK-1812 33 turns is doable of course and even better. But Your strategy is still not revealed and as I understand Your so called "tips" are given here in the thread to avoid direct answers only. "Tips" are not explaining AT WHAT TURN Your Sakurako (fast and furious of course, but not strong to conquer cities) managed to get to Asia Minor so early to conquer Syria and Iraq with full-health cities some of which are huge, like Damascus. And WHAT WAS the way she get there (by Sea, through Europe, through Africa). Questions are still the same. Tips are useless... well, do we need to wait another month? Excellent! Well done andrei , you managed to made it in around 35-36 turns. My respect for you has increased several points, now instead of spamming in this chat, you grabbed the game and try to demonstrate/beat it. From now on I will focus my trolling on stoic and others USA has to fall minimum in 14, otherwise would be difficult to beat me. One of your given generals in Portugal must proceed forthwith to Africa, leech a foothold, and with few units you would not have to bother against those guys. Remember that you have the Royal Navy in the Mediterranean to support you. Create Murat in UK, and after taking Paris, dash him to Greece, take one single foothold, and from there to Anatolia via Georgia. Leave cities near Paris, dont waste turns with those. Focus on the cities near Italy. Leave Ankara and Istanbul for the end; take the eastern cities on middle orient and then southern (closer to Egypt). The troops you use to take Paris have to be splitted in 2, one small force to conquer France and the second one to Italy. You dont have to bother against Denmark, just declare war them in turn 1. You will have to deal with an angry Falsen, but when Sweden join most Danish will be on the water or in wrong places. And finally try, try and try until you refine your strategy. Good luck! PS: Sakurako was a trolling, of course he was Wellington. He came from Istanbul. Once you have New York, you can cross almost half Europe in a single turn. Remember that associative property applies, so always sum first (wonder) and multiply later (forced march).

cojoncio, it is a pity. I spent half a day to check Your "tips" and You don't want to spend 15 minutes to answer 7 simple questions. I am not very young (already) and quite busy person I know the records are beatable. Everybody in this thread knows it. There were particular questions regarding Your particular strategy, not overall possibility. There was a pack of questions from stoic. Why do we need to dance around it all the time?

You're using Murat to take a city in greece but the wonder doesn't affect him, So when he arrive will the the ottomans, italy en Bavaria be realy powerful. Point 1: moving Murat through the ottoman/italian spam it's possible but difficult. Point two you will need to siege the city but it will have max city guards So it will cost time. Point 2: you're playing the anti-french coalition So the french side is doing great the ottomans, italy and Bavaria have destroyed austria, the ottomans have money now. Why wouldn't they put a unit on a city Who's in danger? Point 3: Why wouldn't you take Ankara and Istanbul, the heart of the ottoman economy? You go instead to the Caucasus. Why would you? It's the only place Where your allies (Russia) can help you.

Seger, going through Caucasus is the right way. Cities' defense is crushed there. But he mentioned that his Wellington came from Istanbul. Have no idea why

Have no idea why But Why then take a city in greece instead of the crimea for example? And I think cojoncio meant that wellington was coming from the direction of Istanbul, through france, italy and the Balkan.

That's correct, I call Greece to everywhere between Athenas and Viena. Mi preferred foothold is the city over Instambul, or the city above. Wellington was an excess from the Italian invasion force. He was around mid-italy, and with one mega-dash he reached the cities near Instambul in a couple of turns.
Murat was not affected by mega-dash, it is only for infantry, but once Paris is taken, dash him once and in 3-4 turns he will be at the right position. The good point of it is that, once you get the foothold in Greece, all cities around are already crushed, so with rifleman and sometimes one blast you can take most of them easily. Regarding the question about Austria, if you feed them a bit, they can hold. Indeed this conquest is very easy because pretty soon you have half nort-america, half France, and UK, so your economy turns pretty solid quite early.
Regarding the otoman cities, you can use your navy to crush coastal cities; that saves time.
That was all my strategy.

cojoncioIt wasn't that difficult to answer our questions, wasn't it? And your answers can be reasonable and convincing. Why on earth have you decided to spend your time and our time in such a fruitless manner? It could be all over in a couple of hours (and less painful and time consuming, for sure). Yet, you decided to do it hard way. Usually the way is: Records-questions-answers-acceptance. But you have added one new unnecessary dimension: Records-questions-trolling-answers-acceptance. If you want to be respected - respect others as well (their time in particular!).

Fully agree with stoic Now having at least most of the questions answered for UK1812 we started the vote. Let's hope Your future records will be followed by detailed explanation of the strategy to stimulate other players to try it out and improve if possible. I hope I was wrong calling Your results "cheated" Sorry for that.

This thing is the reason why I never try to make conquest record or something like that. (The other reasons are I'm not a hardcore player and my time and ability ) But I think I'm the first guy get Lan in EW4 w/o any campaign star in forum (never seen it before) and get 2nd place in Conquest 1798 leaderboard only by auto play Sardinia hundreds times (yes, very long time ago). No one try to make crazy thing like me

If I am not mistaken Lan was second most difficult princess (right after Victoria) to receive. Interesting to have this strategy

Victoria is the one who need campaign stars, not Lan.
