As I promised best75 Russia 1812 32 turns It also could be a bit faster, but a well-known problem: appearance of a general exactly where we don't want him to spawn

And, best75, I have completely forgotten to notify you, but a new Prussian record in 1812 is 33 turns now.

stoic, Russia is awesome! Congratulations! What is Your strategy for defeating US fast? Who is the best to receive most donations? Just curious (it's Russia! afterall ), I anyway try to improve UK if GC:R will not correct the plan I decided to donate everything I have to Canada and Mexico. Not a penny to anyone else. Russia has the best income of all 3* countries, so after Poland is defeated the sum of donations is quite large. My problem so far was Greenland, therefore I decided to sent Bagration there right from the start. If he can capture Amsterdam or Brittany on the way - the problem of Greenland is almost solved, because we can build a frigate or two. Bagration is crucial for capturing Greenland because of a tent, and there are many nasty surprises, like American privateers in Atlantic. Russia is well suited for my Infantry team - at the start there are 2 grenadiers and 2 elite light infantry units. Besides one unit of Cossacks for Murat and Tsar's cannon for Alexander. Almost all generals can be deployed right from the start.

32 is not enough anyway! I feel like 29-30 for UK is doable, not this weekend though Anyway it is cool, because Russia is always not easy for record.

Well, then will wait for Your Russia in order not to waste time

Well, then will wait for Your Russia in order not to waste time Once I saw they defeated USA in 29 turns. It is really a question of luck, because they hire militia and line infantry most of the time, but a couple of ships or cannons can change this situation drastically. Besides, it is possible to send a couple of your own ships to New York from Brittany. It is not 100% guarantee, of course, but worth trying

stoic, i'm happy that i was the fire that started it all . Although, not gonna lie, i feel that my need to compete is going against my need to balance my time. Most of my records were simply most of your records that i simply improved, so i guess it would be even if you did retake them >:^)

Instead of donating to Canada and Mexico, you donate to Egypt. Don't ask me how i'm certain that 29 turns is possible.

So, I presume we all have to be thankful for this But taking into account that a new game is out in a week or so, it is possible that it will have an abrupt end soon enough. I hope we all can fight each other on an equal ground (well, more or less ) then (all excuses left aside ).

Competition is what makes things more interesting, since we'll all be one upping each other to beat the other's record by one or 2 turns.

I hope they will make this virtual competition even more interesting by adding new dimensions like a complex system of diplomacy (for example, a possibility not only to declare war on neutral states, but to make them your allies as well) and many good generals with different skills and talents.

hmm I wonder if anyone has completely dominated a record list for an et game before? Can't be max in wc4 as even before me some city records were under nikolai vatutin, andrei, stoic and matthew. Seems like after a while cojoncio will be close to achieving that, whereas I might have a couple more years before I can start with max's 1980 records
