Oh very smart. I think that you should leave the canadian troops and try to steal a city. Maybe disband the Mediterranean navy. Why not send your forces in Iberia & the Mediterranean to their deaths? Unless you steal & hold a city there, they're gonna be wiped out either ways. , Maybe. But Italy, Naples, and Algeria enter the war 10 turns in. So it will take 10 turns for Smith (“Sidney”) and Duckworth to die |

in Iberian, with Wellesley attack the frenchs troops and capture 1 city and spam militias and wait for the portuguese reforcements.

Yet again in Conquest, I have found a jewel in & will support the Ottoman Empire as a good nation.
The strategy is literally just like what you do in 1806, but with a different situation:
- Defend against Russia
- Then defend against Austria
- Bavaria (Saxony & the Confederation of the Rhine in 1806) will hit the exposed Austria western flanks and swiftly overrun Vienna. Moreover, 1812 Italy (aka Sardinia + the Papal States) will directly help you push back the Austrians.
- Defeat the Russia attack through the Caucasus & you can freely invade their exposed flank there.
- Egypt is like 1806 Sicily, opening a new but relatively minor and easy front there. Work with Algeria & Naples well to destroy Egypt quickly.
- Afterwards, just steamroll Russia, Britain, Morocco, the Iberian Peninsula & possibly Sweden. (You're likely to pay the USA to conquer North America so there's not much trouble there.)

With steady financial support provided for the USA as you advance into Russia, I think you should be able to fund them until they survive. A swift invasion of North America, if needed, should finish off stragglers, IIRC. |
