Never "forced" when deciding were to attack it is prudent to attack all points where avilaible instead of only one. Sometimes in battle there are two fronts, equally as important strategically. I enjoy my play style and have successfully had fun playing many conquests. I have finished some crimean war challenges and some roman uninification, but have mainly been grinding conquest to gain medals. Ideally i would take back dombrowski but i kinda like hood. And on 1812 and 1815 it is nice to have two naval fronts. Like france, or spain ect. Maybe Hood gets sacked for the old polish man. The future holds many surprises. Also, not a big fan of Alex I. John is kinda better. I don't know. Maybe it's just the city attacking skill. Didn't you had already two navy? Of are you going to replace one?

I was thinking Hood is not as good as I thought he would be. But for 900 some medals he is not bad, so I was thinking about getting rid of hood for dabrowski

In retrospect, I should have kept him,but since also have Blucher,Murat,Lan,i thought maintaining 4 cav gens would interfere with my plan of 2I-3C-2A-1N,total of 8.

This is a nice idea. In the heat of battle my cavalry generals get split up depending on tatical advantage. So when that happens davout is better to have by himself supoeted by like 1 cannon and some infantry then dabrowski. My infantry split to cover more ground, so the aura is very very good, but not everything. In fact, if you are forced to split your generals that means you have to work on your strategy and priorities. You know - an old tale about fingers and a fist. Generals work far more efficient in one team or in several small teams than alone. Yeah small teams of aura buff generals. Like infantry generals go with other infantry generals with an additional 2-3 militia meatshield. Same with every other unit type. For me, that allows me to push up to 3-4 fronts at the same time, effectively halving the amount of time conquest drags.

My summer classes just started today, so probably won’t peak around long. Can’t wait to play the next easytech title after they end!

I send karl and massena differnt directions typically. That way they hit more random infantry. But, it sounds like a switch up is in order. Sometime this week I will switch from hood to dabrowski, ibhave never had 3 cavarly generals sonthat should be fun.

In terms of conquests,3 Cavalry gens will help with attack and speed, since you have more time to build your team. As for campaigns and challenges, you are usually dealt with what u got,and with not much time on your side.

In my case, murat, blucher, and dabrowski could entire completely kill or severely wound a target if they all attacked it in the same turn. For example, put the three of them against one napoleon and he’ll be dead in a turn or two. Plus they are fast too.

Yeah. I am convinced. Hood will not renew his commission. The cavalry ability to attack again after a kill is HUGE. So that will speed up my time. And Emperor Nelson should be fine on his own at sea.

Also, consider that Cold weapons are the most effective common weapon against fortifications out of anything inf and cav units have (with the exception of grenades from Old Guards, Grenadiers and Grenedier Horse Cav).
Trying out a Poland 1806 run with gens, and I can say that my gens (Murat with pre-spawned Dabrowski and Poniatowki as well as Davout) are able to blitz into Russia without much need for arty units.
