There we go! Managed to complete the mission in 8 turns. I used Jourdan to sink Jervis (Each of Jourdan's attacks took 1/4 of Jervis’ HP away), which made Hood more vulnerable. Then I used Jones to sink Hood, and then I used Jones to capture the British port to the south. Meanwhile, Clinton took out his twin brother by turn 8, ending the mission with a 3-star. Nice. What I did which made the game infinitely easier was to save the medals I got in campaigns to buy new generals and the gold medals to make the upgrade from emperor. My earnings from farming the neds went towards upgrading my generals. This allows to save lots of dough for new generals. You will need all 8/8 of those slots filled |

You know, right now I’m doing Netherlands using the bribing method. Jourdan came to help defend against the British which made me feel safer.

Don't bribe,since Netherlands is very poor in resources, from the beginning save your gold for yourself and you will do fine and yes Jourdan on coastal defence asap😁 |

Clinton on the grenadiers is enough to keep me alive. France and Denmark always come to the rescue if there are Austrians, Prussians or British threatening me. |

For you to have an idea, I’ve already done this method successfully 5 times. 250 medals nice. I’d farm until you have maxed the french eagle tech cap, then proceed to french eagle campaign. It is very hard, but once you beat it, you have access to amazing tech and lots of medals |

You really get 19000 gold. 10000 gold from the actual conquest, and 3000 selling the silver eagles (once you have enough to purchase all of the medals). |

I rate Jourdan 4 stars. He is only outdone by Alexander I in the blue tier, Alexander being better than some gold tier tiers. Jourdan can last for a pretty long time in your roster, being effective until you get Alexander I Mahmud II. The only free general that can be used to the end.

Imo Alexander is better than all gold generals, with the exception of napoleon. |

Actually, I thought about it a bit and I think Ludwig is superior to jourdan. With inspire, salvo, and artillery master, ludwig possesses a very powerful skill set. He always has max morale (like jourdan) but salvo and artillery master are absolutely devastating skills. I think ludwig is stronger than jourdan and a solid general for absolute noobs to buy in the beginning. |
