I said it elsewhere some time ago, but my opinion doesn't change. Treville has the same skills as Nelson has minus Helmsman. If we think that Nelson is the best Admiral - then Treville is behind him...

Treville. For pure naval battles (fleet against fleet) Jervis is better imo, but we are mostly not involved into the pure naval battles. P.S.: What Morillo is doing here? This guy is awful.

A good player I feel can use morillo for a while, without any upgrades. My treville costed more than 2000 medals and all I did to upgrade him was line of battle lvl 4.

I like hood, as he can be brought down in price, and is a decent admiral, plus one of my friends is Known as Hood

There was a discussion about that and I agree with andrei:Tactics Master is a curse for a weak general not a blessing. He is only a duke, so all his skills can not be fully upgraded. His defence is weak and Alert doesn't help him much in ship-to-ship duels. His attack is pathetic. Escorting is imo inferior to other aura skills because we don't have any difficult pure naval battles. Honestly I always thought it was a joke - to count him among the best Admirals. There is a big question whether we need Nelson at all or not... not to speak about Morillo. The only one reason to hire him is a personal attitude...

The problem with Morillo is that we have same power naval gen for free. There is no any reason to invest 800 (!) medals into the gen equal to Falsen, who can be upgraded to Morillo's title during 15-20 minutes without spending a single medal. Nonsense.

Well, actually everyone can see how good Morillo is when he is almost fully upgraded. It is 1812 conquest. To be honest, I'm not very impressed. French infantry units in the see (!!!) create many problems for him, and it is easier to destroy Paris' defense than Bordeaux's defense with the help of Morillo in 10 turns.

Stats wise he is just a non-prince blue.
